The Computer Center is an internal service department that is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of Cascade County's departmental computing needs; provides system and programming services, technical support of a wide range of operating systems, and daily operational functions for County departments. The Computer Center does not provide direct services to private citizens.
- Maintain the County's main computer system 24/7
- Develop and maintain critical computer applications
- Assist in determining business requirements
- Identify appropriate computer solutions
- Assist in purchasing hardware and software
- Respond to service requests
- Provide telephone Help Desk support
- Diagnose and resolve computer related problems
- Perform hardware/software upgrades and routine maintenance
- Assist in the proper use of computers, applications and internet access
- Recommend and assist in the use of various data backup systems
